A Glamorous Affair

Leslie and Rob's Wedding

Leslie and Rob's Wedding

I just loved this wedding.  Leslie couldn’t have been a more laid back, confident bride.  As a result she got everything she dreamed of with a crew of professional vendors that knew just how to bring her vision together.  You have to check out Sandra’s  blog  to see more fabulous shots. Ofcourse, the cupcake tower isn’t too shabby…one of our masterpieces if I may brag a bit.  And to top it off….a cake topper by Chic Sparkles

Wedding Cakes

Wedding Cakes

These wedding cakes are so fun to make. I really love cakes with personality.  The top left cake is courtesy of Lee Brubaker Photography, she captured this image for us at the Wedding Salon in Beverly Hills. This cake is an Audrey Hepburn inspired original.

Bottom left cake was a wedding cake I made for a wedding at Orcutt Ranch.  Photography by Christine Farrah.  This cake was made with special care for a sweet couple that wanted simple elegance.  Fresh fruits are sugar coated and placed in the corners of this square buttercream wedding cake

The middle and largest cake is a truly stunning wedding cake for a  stunning bride. The reception took place at Westlake Village Inn.  Photograph courtesy of myself (I snap a few great shots once in awhile).  This is a fondant covered madhatter style cake with damask pattern going all the way around.  Very Chic!!

Top right is a wedding cake made for a lovely couple that wed at The Spanish Hills Country Club.  Photo courtesy of Skye Blu Photography.  This cake is fondant

Bottom right is courtesy of Chelsea Elizabeth for a wedding at Camarillo Ranch. The broche and brown ribbon complimented the brides wedding dress.

I greatly appreciate when photographers send pictures of cakes that we have done.  THANK YOU!!!!!

Beverly Hills Hillbillies

Steven and Joezen know how to host an event.  Their beautiful wedding was held at the Beverly Hills Beverly Hills Country ClubCountry Club this past Saturday, 8/16/08.  Attention to detail and respect for the enviroment was their main focus.  Everything from centerpieces, give aways and how you responded to the invite were all GREEN! The centerpieces were flowers that they both planted into pottery they already had in the back yard.  Then, they followed up with care instructions on their website.

Thank you both for letting us share in your wonderfully special day!!

New Standards

Adnan, married 8-8-08 to Afnan at the Olympic Collection, has set the standards much higher for men.  To much surprise, the amazing toasting glasses seen here were decorated by groom.  Not only the wine glassess but the knife set as well.  He incorporated their colors; green and pink in a fantastic pattern that just made the set sparkle.  I was so impressed when his coordinator told me the details.  “He spent almost 2 weeks working on them, glueing each crystal in place, one at a time”.

The whole room was an amazing, romantic fairytale from the waterfall inside the room to the double sached chivari chairs  It was obvious that all details were carefully planned and well orchestrated.

I can’t wait to see the pictures of the rest of the evening.

Grace & Ben

On the coast is a lovely little restuarant….this is where Grace and Ben tied the knot.  The Sunset overlooks the amazing ocean and nothing can be better than exchanging vows infront of the grand Pacific Ocean at sunset.  Grace made a stunning bride who looked over every detail of the wedding. I can not wait to see more photos from the wedding.

I hope you had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment of your magical day, thank you for letting us make your day a little sweeter.
