Talk about fun. This Hello Kitty cake was made for Tara Patrick celebrating her birthday last week. We covered the cake in fondant to create the quilted look. Inside was delicous vanilla bean buttercream with alternating layers of vanilla cake and chocolate cake. Evan told us to make a very special birthday cake…and that’s just what we did.
I haven’t even unloaded the van and I already have inquiries from todays event in my inbox. Today’s crowd was so fun and energetic. I had a blast with Steve and Joezen who took over the table for me when I was tied up with a potential client. Fred & Ben came out to support and showoff their wedding cake-to-be that they have stored in the telephone.
I am very grateful to have been a part of todays event: GLBTQ Expo and Mobile Marriage Summit, held at the lovely LUXE hotel.
Guests were raving about the sounds of J&M Music, the fabulous boutonnieres from Jackie Combs Floral Design, the delicious cupcakes from A Stunning Affair and the great chocolate fountain from The Buttery.
I look forward to viewing photos that were taken…I know somebody tooka great snapshot of a happy guest sampling cake : )
On the coast is a lovely little restuarant….this is where Grace and Ben tied the knot. The Sunset overlooks the amazing ocean and nothing can be better than exchanging vows infront of the grand Pacific Ocean at sunset. Grace made a stunning bride who looked over every detail of the wedding. I can not wait to see more photos from the wedding.

Chic Sparkles is the latest trend in toppers. I can not believe how affordable her work is. I think what I like most is the customer service and attention to her work.
I just loved the diamond topper she made for my wedding cake.

I just loved this 3 tiered square wedding cake made for May & Jeff. The reception was just lovely at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club. Floral Designer Jackie Combs did a fantastic job. The Bridesmaids bouqets were just stunning…those green flowers were so bright and sexy. Congratulations May & Jeff on happliy ever after!!!
